|bcas1984||I have been gone for a while, so I'd like to bring down the review time on some of my problems. I am hitting "Forgotten" for most, but I wondered if the EF(R) setting would help reduce the length of time between seeing a question. To accomplish this, should I make that setting a larger or smaller number? I've already lowered the EF setting.|
|Darrell Malick||Making EF(R) bigger will move the EF of a problem back to the EF(zero) level more quickly. It's already quite fast though, I'd suggest being gentle.
I think you'll find your EF(zero) setting of 1.1 is too low, but maybe you'll like it. It's up to you. With and EF(zero) that low, your study intervals will basically never increase unless you are clicking "easy."
If you set EF(zero) to a low value AND EF(R) to a high value, then even clicking "easy" isn't going to let your interval expand much or at all.
Did that make sense?
|bcas1984||Yes, it makes perfect sense. Thanks! I'll toy around with it as I go. I'm trying to have plenty of problems to solve for the next couple of months while I prep for the US Go Congress.|
