|Franks2000||Should the numbered lectures in the Joseki: Step by Step course first all be worked through before moving on to the follow ups? In other words is the material contained in the follow up lectures aimed at more experienced players?|
|Darrell Malick||Hi Franks,
That's what I did. First all the josekis, then later the followups. Worked great that way. Yes the followups tend to be a bit more advanced. I would say you can study a followup for a particular joseki whenever it grabs your interest though.
Thanks for your reply. That’s a relief, I found the follow up lecture I checked out a bit intimidating.
|Darrell Malick||Welcome. Yes, for me, I just have to take the more challenging material in nibbles. When first learning the positions I click "hard" over and over and over until I get them in my head. Then and only then I let the spacing widen out to days. Actually this works really well.|
