Dyonn An idea about the 'copy this joseki' problems. How about making the one to copy disappear after you make the first move? I think this would help me to learn the joseki, rather than just copying it

Darrell Malick Interesting idea. I like it. Would you suggest using this method 100% of the time or just sometimes?

Dyonn Not sure. Maybe a mix, especially for the longer ones

ikkenbasami I would appreciate this as well

Dyonn I would still like to see this... :)

Darrell Malick Tell me one problem you would like to try it on.

Dyonn How about this one:

Darrell Malick Hmm. I tried to put this problem online so we could get some feedback about it, but I can't do it. We use [AddWhite] and [AddBlack] in the sgf file to set up a position, and we can use it on the last node to dress up an end position. But if I put a node in the middle of the file with these (to remove the stones being copied), it ends the playback. To explain it differently, the playback will only playback ONE node and if I add a node to remove the stones, it needs to play back two of them. This moves your request from a new style of problem to a new programming feature.

Dyonn Ah well, I guess I'll have to wait a while longer. Thanks anyway

Darrell Malick I added it to the programming queue, but there are quite a bunch of higher priority issues, so, yeah, it will take a while. Sorry about that.
