To mourn Mr. Fujisawa Shuko

Mr. Fujisawa Shuko passed away on May 8th, 2009.  He was one of the grand masters, but he meant much more than this to Chinese professionals.  He was our great teacher.  Beginning in 1981, Shuko sensei traveled to China with young Japanese pros to play games with us.  He taught us for many years.  Now, we hope Shuko sensei is enjoying his well-deserved peace in Heaven, and that he is still playing his wonderful moves.

To mourn and remember Mr. Fujisawa Shuko and Mr. Kato-Masao,  Jujo Jiang 9p has recorded an audio lecture describing a game between these two grand masters.  It is a Free Lecture. After you listen, please remember our great teacher and join us in wishing him rest and peace.

Ian Davis 1d  (javaness on kgs) and Guo Juan 5p won first prize in the PairGo Tournament at the 35th London Open Go Congress 2008.  We had great Fun!  Two of our games will be published  tomorrow, on our audio lecture site as a free lecture.

Thomas (Rubik) has won the second place, and Javier-Aleksi (Assu) the third place, in European youth championship (under 18), congratulations! Both Thomas and Javier-Aleksi are qualified for the Ing's world youth championship 2008. Boys, train hard and I wish you both play well in China.

Our students made victories! Joshua Chao 3k from the Netherlands (10 years old, moneky 9 on kgs), has won the 1st prize (shared with Mateusz) in European Youth Championship, under 12 section. One Euro Audio Go Lectures

I am pleased to publish the beta version of our One Euro Audio Lecture System. The goal of this publishing is to let you try the free lectures, and to give us feedbacks so we can improve the system followed by your advice. We know that at this moment it is far from perfect, there are still many weaknesses to be improved. Therefore your suggestions would be helpful! What makes our Audio Lesson system special? It is the first one in the world; we bring you the latest top professional matches from international tournaments with detailed commentaries and inside stories. The commentaries are from high level experienced professionals; it is English speaking (later more languages). In the end, each lecture will cost you only ONE euro! Changes

As you can see, some things have been modified. First of all, the website has had some cosmetic makeovers. Secondly, things have been organised in a more efficient way so the site will be easier to use. Additionally some items have been added for more functionality. And last but definitely not least, there is a new and revolutionary system of lessons coming up. The purpose of this system is to promote go worldwide. The costs per lesson will start from just 1 euro! Further details are coming real soon so stay tuned!
