Sente moves are certainly not always good. Actually many of them which we often play in our games are very bad. In this series of lectures, teacher Jennie will help us eliminate this bad habit. The examples we choose are taken from real games, and are typical mistakes. The level on these lectures is 10k-1d. But we think they are also very helpful for beginners and higher level.

Basic shapes are very important in the game of Go. They are fundamental, and are similar to the foundation of a house. If a foundation is solid, a large house may be built, with many additions and new stories. If the foundation is shaky, it is like building a house on sand.
