About Mr. Ing Chang-Ki

Ing
Mr. Ing Chang-Ki was one of Taiwan's most successful industrialists. He spent his entire life promoting weiqi around the world. He created the Ing rules. In 1988, he started the first and largest worldwide professional tournament. He has given huge financial support for western players and organizations, and the foundation he created has continued to do so. He supports a worldwide tournament for talented children and teens.

Born July, 1957. 1982, professional 5dan; 1987, 7dan; 1978, China national championship 5th place; 1982, China national championship 6th place. He moved to United States in 2000. 2001, challenger of North America Master Go Tournament. 2004, top 16 in the 9th LG World Cup. He teaches Weiqi on/off line. ZhuJiu Jiang (jujo) 9p is his younger brother.

ZhuJiu
Born in 1962. Started to study go at the age of 6. Became 5dan professional in 1982. 1987, 9dan. His achievements will follow.

Guo Juan 5p

GuoJuan
Born in 1960. Learned Go at the age of 9. She became professional in 1977. 1985, 5dan. Best result in China national championship was 5th place. She moved to Europe in 1998. Since then, she has won numerous European tournaments. Guo Juan has enormous experience teaching western go players. Her teaching events cover all of Europe and North America.
